Biography

When it comes to the Pacific Northwest and the Tacoma/Seattle music scene, one name most people are familiar with is Tim Hall.  Tim is a soulful singer, guitarist, and songwriter and shows no signs of slowing down.  In the past he received a well-deserved Summy Award for Blues Man of the Year from the Tacoma/Seattle Blues Foundation.

At a young age his band "Grizzly" opened up several times for the legendary Albert Collins, and a couple of years later he formed a band called Foghorn Leghorn with Robert Cray.  Over the years his band has split the bill with likes of The Jefferson Starship, Jimmy Thackery and The Drivers, Pinetop Perkins, and the Queen of New Orleans Marva Wright just to name a few.

Tim's legendary blues jams are well known by professional musicians and year after year are real crowd pleasers.

With a sound and style of his own he continues to work on new material and upcoming projects, doing what he loves to do--create music.

The Tim Hall Band has played many clubs, concert halls and festivals with an endless repertoire of songs bridging the line between Soul, Funk, R & B and some smoking Hot Blues!  Performances can range from a power trio to a seven piece band with horns.

Throughout the years the Tim Hall Band has been critically acclaimed for their own original material and has released four CD's:

"After Hours"   "Ghost In The Closet"    "Runnin" With The Blues"

and their most recent release  "Light It Up Tonight"

All four CDs are available to purchase and download in their entirety or individual tracks by clicking the "MY MUSIC" link above.
